The 28 ports 10 Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Optic Trackside Switch is a 10Gigabit/Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 managed switch, equipped with two (2) 10GbE SFP+ Slots specifically designed for network applications in Trackside environments.

Layer2/Layer 3 managed switch

Besides providing wire-speed layer 2 forwarding capabilities, this switch also supports Layer 3 services, allowing IPv4 unicast and multicast routing among different VLANs. Layer 3 extensions include inter-VLAN routing with packet filtering together with NAT. OSPF and RIP dynamic protocols are also supported.

Besides the standard features provided by this class of devices, this Consist Switch provides advanced software facilities - TTCMP Network Toolkit - for trackside network discovery and configuration.

Wide range of models available

The Trackside Switch has two (2) SFP+ Fixed 10GbE slots, two (2) SFP+ GbE slots and twenty-four (24) 10/100/1000BASE-T(X) RJ45 ports.

Twenty-four (24) Gigabit Ethernet ports can be equipped with PoE+ capability
